TRAINING STUFF

Tuesday: 6:15pm for 6:30pm start. Saturday: 8:45am for 9am start.

Please turn up to training with plenty of time to spare. In the rare event that you are running late but are coming - please send Wendy a text or give her a call so we know how many seats are spare for the occasional guest paddler(s) that may wish to jump onboard.

Dobroyd Regatta

Tsunami will be hosting the first regatta of the season on August 31 at Dobroyd. The invitation has been sent out via Pingg, please reply ASAP with the details of your volunteering preferences/experience.

It's a great chance for those new to the sport to check out a regatta before it comes time to race and a good opportunity for us all to contribute back to the sport. Last year we received many compliments on how professional and organised we were. It'd be great to uphold the tradition of hosting excellence!

DBNSW Courses
DBNSW are running a number of courses over the coming months. Let Wendy know if you are interested in any of the following courses and would like more details:

First Aid: Sun 10 August

NSW Sport & Recreation Workshops

NSW Sport and Recreation is offering a variety of workshops for community sports coaches in June and July. All the workshops will be held on Monday nights at the NSW Sport and Recreation Offices from 6.00pm until 9.30pm. The cost is $40 and includes a light supper.
The next 2 workshops will be:
1. Sports education workshop: Planning and program management (Monday July 21)
2. Sports education workshop: Anti-doping and the essence of coaching
Flyers / enrollment forms for these 3 workshops and many other courses being run by the NSW Department of Sport and Recreation, are available on their website.
